Handheld instrument to simplify measurements of volume. The measurement result displays in the unit dB (decibel). The instrument has two different filter curves; A to correspond to the human ear\'s frequency sensitivity at different sound levels and C with linear sensitivity. TES 1350 has a function which automatically holds the highest value during measurement (Max Hold). There are two different measurement speeds. The fast mode is used to see variations. The slow mode gives a stable result for sound which varies or pulses. TES 1350 is suitable for simple measurement of noisy machines to measure the difference made by sound insulation, to measure the sound level in schools, airports, etc. The instrument has outputs for connection to tape-recorders, printers, etc. Manufactured to conform to the IEC 651 class II standard.
